Obituary of Maria LEGASPI

Maria Quim Legaspi, beloved daughter of Ferdinand and Cecilia Legaspi of Calgary, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the age of 22 years. Maria was born in Calgary on June 13, 1989 at the Foothills Medical Center. She was completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the University of Calgary. Her main passion was for her love for her family by constantly providing endless joys and laughter with her pranks. Quims many other passions were drawing, playing the piano, dancing (otso-otso), eating, travelling and her admiration for her silver screen idols; Lucille Ball, Katharine Hepburn, William Holden and Clark Gable, to name a few. Maria will be greatly missed by her loving parents, Ferdinand and Cecilia Legaspi and younger sister Miko; her grandparents Gregorio and Anna Legaspi of Calgary and Lourdes Cabading of Calgary; her partner, Chris Houngmany; her many loving friends and family; and of course her canine companions Max, Ginger, Benji, Chloe, Mork and Mindy.
