Frank Masinda passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Frank was born in Winnipeg, MB and joined WWII in September 1939, to serve with the Canadian Intelligence Corps. He served in Canada, England and N.W. Europe. His time was spent behind enemy lines decoding information and reporting spies. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret, daughters Heather (Brian) Girvitz and Gail (Louis) Skocen; granddaughters: Kelly, Pamela, Crysti and Rene; and seven great-grandchildren: Samuel, Paul, Jordan, Masinda, Michael, Aiden, and Leighton. A Celebration of Franks Life was held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 2:00p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made, in Franks name, to the charity of the donors choice.
