Ghale ave Nanka Sade uthi jahe Gurusharan Parmar (AKA GP, Gary, Madhu) born on November 26, 1961, village Binjon, Punjab, unexpectedly passed away peacefully on December 11, 2010. He is survived by his parents Rattan Singh Parmar and Swarn Kaur, wife Ranvir Kaur, two children Ritu and Rassan, along with his four siblings: Baljinder, Swindra, Rani, and Sonu; nephews, nieces, and friends. He was a spiritual and God-loving individual, great father, loving husband, awesome son, and the best brother/friend that anyone could ever have. He touched many souls with his kindness, love and affection. There is nothing that prayers cannot solve, as he used to say. He preached to others about the greatness of God and truthful living. He was a prominent Calgarian for the past thirty years, and was actively involved with many charitable activities in the city. Funeral Services were held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 1:30p.m., followed by a service at the Dashmesh Cultural Centre. Condolences can be sent via email to calgaryparmarfamily@hotmail.com or forwarded through www.hffs.com. He will be deeply missed and will be remembered in our hearts forever.
