Obituary of Om SHARMA

Om Prakash Sharma, beloved husband of Pushpa Sharma, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Om was born in Singida, Tanzania, East Africa and immigrated to Calgary in 1975 with his family. He owned and operated the Lucky Dollar Food Store in Three Hills, Alberta for many years before retiring in 1983. Om is survived by his loving wife, Pushpa; children: Usha Sharma, Ranjana Mehta, Shushma Mohan and Raj Sharma; grandchildren: Adam C., Penny and Ram Boyer, Priya and Anil Mehta, Amita and Vishali and Shwetha Mohan, Sneha and Raghav Sharma; brothers: Sat and Prem; sisters: Laxmi, Sarita, Leela and Krishna, as well as numerous other family members in London and Canada. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Shree Sharma. Funeral Services were held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 23, 2010.
