On Sunday, July 24, 2011, Tony Stevens lost his battle of two years to cancer. Tony was born in Dorchester, Ontario and in the early 1980s he came to Calgary. He then moved to Carstairs where he and Maureen raised their children and restored a 100 year old farm house. His expert handyman skills also allowed him to build a barn, shed and shop on their property. In addition to their country home, he liked spending time at their cabin (in which he built himself) near Rocky Mountain House and spending time fishing. Tony was also an avid supporter of 4-H when he wasnt working in the construction industry. He is survived by his wife Maureen and his two daughters, Jill and Karlee (Chris). Memorial Services were held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. As a celebration of his life, please wear bright coloured attire.
