Blaine Vallance, beloved husband of Gladys Vallance, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Blaine was born in Drumheller and had a long career in the trucking industry. He was a member of the Safe Million Miles Club with Canadian Freightways. Blaine started Vallance Trucking and retired after 17 years with Klippert Concrete. Blaine is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gladys; his five children, Vicki (Phil), Kevin (Darlene), Colin (Theresa), Teresa (Kelly) and Wendy (Bob) as well as eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Darcy. A remembrance with coffee & tea was held at the Vallance family home (4736 Montalban Drive NW) on Thursday, July 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
