Mary Adam, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at the age of 80 years.
Mary was born in Hanna, Alberta on March 13, 1931. Throughout her life, Mary was known for her dedication and constant loving support given to her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Marie Adam; grandson William Knight Hooson (Laura Hooson); grandson Max Adam Hooson (Melissa Hooson); granddaughter Amanda Marie Wright (Andrew Wright); and great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Dawn Hooson, William Knight Hooson Jr., Hanna Mary Hooson, Hailey Diane Hooson, Callie Jane Hooson and Max Rosco Wright. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Max Russell Adam.
A Celebration of Marys life was held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00p.m. A Private Family Graveside Service followed at Queens Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
