Tony, beloved husband of fifty-seven years to Laura, passed away on October 31, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
Tony was born on December 26, 1926 in Sedley, Saskatchewan, moved to Calgary in 1960 from Regina, Saskatchewan where he lived, raised his family and worked.
Besides his loving wife, Tony is also survived by his children, Norman Getz, Odell and Ron Sinclair, Maurice Getz, Ronald and Lori Getz, Arnold and Gale Getz; grandchildren, Ryan and Pam, Nicholas, Chelsea, Mandy, Odessa and Scott, Earl, Brendon, Stephanie, Jordan, Travis, April, Cody, Amber and Ayla; great-grandchildren Cassie, Zachery, Luca, Kaleb, Alexis, Alijah and Mckaela; as well as his sisters and brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 10827 24th Street S.W., Calgary on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
