Mr. Surinder Pal Singh Gill, beloved husband of Jasbir Kaur of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre, after a long and brave battle with MS and kidney disease, at the age of 56 years.
In addition to his loving wife Jasbir, Surinder is survived by his children: Kuldish, Jaspreet, Gurpreet, and son-in-law Joey. He was predeceased by his brother, Rajinder Singh; parents, Kartar Singh, Jagdish Kaur and Amar Kaur.
He will be greatly missed by all whom he crossed paths with; for he was always the sunshine of everyones day.
Funeral Services were held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Final Prayers (Ardas) will be held at the Sikh Society of Calgary (81 Street and Old Banff Coach Rd. S.W.) on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
