John Robert Martin, beloved husband of Bernice Rosemary Martin of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the age of 86 years.
John was born in Kenora, Ontario on February 11, 1926. He married the love of his life, Bernice Rosemary on the 14th of April 1956 in Calgary, Alberta.
John is survived by his loving wife, Bernice; daughter, Laura Martin (Michael Calkins) of Edmonton, AB; son, George Martin (Joyce Seeley) and grandson, Gregory Martin of Surrey, B.C.
A Celebration of Johns Life will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 16th Avenue N.W. (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
