Obituary of Beverlee JASON
Please share a memory of Beverlee to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beverlee passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on April 12, 2012, at the age of 87 years. She was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan, on October 1, 1924. She served her country by working in the munitions industry during World War II, and earned her B.Sc. from Brandon University in 1949. She married George Jason, a kind and generous man, on August 23, 1952. George and Beverlee spent a number of years moving around Alberta with the seismic industry before settling in Langley, BC, and then Calgary in 1965. She missed him greatly after his death in 1998. Beverlee was a cheerful and gentle soul who loved her family and many friends. Bowling was one of her passions for many years, and she enjoyed Friday nights out with the ladies. She was well known for her great sense of humour and keen intelligence.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gregor (Eva); daughter Dana (Alfredo); grandsons Adam, Everest, and Alden; and members of her extended family across Western Canada and the United States. She was predeceased by her parents Wynn and Dolly Myers, her brother Warren, and her sister Evelyn.
A memorial service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com
