It is with great sadness that the Quance family announces the sudden passing of Charles Quance beloved husband of Betty Quance of Calgary, on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the age of 92 years.
Charles was born and raised in the Bay Coulee area of southern Alberta and served during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers from 1939-1945. Charles married Betty in Burnham, England and upon their return to Canada, the young family first lived in Morrin, Alberta before moving to Calgary in the early sixties.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Barry Jensen; daughter-in-law, Susan Quance; grandchildren, Christian (Nicole) Jensen, Lisa (John)Hettle, Bryan (Jenilee) Quance, Robyn (Glen) Hay as well as numerous precious great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Daniel in 2011.
