Obituary of Kathleen STIRLING

Kathy of Calgary, died suddenly on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the age of 56 years. Kathy was a kind, independent, compassionate and patient woman with an amazing spirit and warm heart. She will be deeply missed by her daughters and grandchildren who always came first in her life. Some of her happiest times were spending summers in BC at Mara Lake with family and friends. She was also a frequent visitor of Sandals Resort in Jamaica. She had a love for golf and was involved in ladies golf leagues. Kathy was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she made many life long friendships. She was a committed blood donor with the Canadian Red Cross. Kathy worked for Dr. Douglas Mann Professional Corporation for the past 27 years and was the Conference Manager for the Alberta Psychiatric Association. Kathy is survived by daughters; Michelle and Debra, son in-laws; Rene and Jarrett, grandchildren; Jordan, Avery, Payton and Marley, brothers; Larry, Darryl (Cindy), nieces and nephews; Paul, Samantha, Kelli, Amber, Dean, and Jesse; many extended family and friends and her beloved dog Sir Gary. She was predeceased by her husband Larry and parents, Don and Sharon. Memorial Services were held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
