Shiba Prasad Chatterjee, beloved husband of Niva, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
A loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather, Shiba was an idol and inspiration to his entire family. He was born and raised in India, and worked very hard to become one of the most respected electrical engineers in his field. His integrity, intelligence and sharp sense of humour earned him the respect of his colleagues and adoration of his family and friends. After retiring from a prestigious career, he devoted his remaining years to looking after his children and grandchildren. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed by his wife, Niva; his children Trishna and Jharna; son-in-laws Santanu and Anil; and his grandchildren Sanjana, Ananya, Sandip and Sonalika; and beloved pet Shaggy (Sagi). He was predeceased by his eldest daughter Ratna.
