Paul Cote passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario. Paul served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1950 – 1955. Paul married Joanne Bodendistel in 1959. He moved across Canada and settled in Calgary-Springbank. Paul travelled as a drug salesman for the veterinary community for many years. Paul also founded the Clark & Cote Limited. Real estate was his last venture. He volunteered at for Poppy Fund for many years, as well as serving as a member of the Legion. Paul is survived by his good friend Ruth Radostits. Paul is survived by his brothers Fr. Ron, Peter, Joe, and Jack; Sisters Rita Mary and Helen Keegan. Paul will be dearly missed by his daughters Patrice (Gery) Gardner, Pam (Kevin); his sons, Shawn and Sandford (Stephanie); his grandchildren Amanda (Andrew) Hougen, Lindsy and Sydney Gardner, Jordan and Devin Keyowski, Braden Leahy, Madison Barrel, Drew Frangos-Cote, Mary and Caleb Cote-Smallenburg; also by his great-grandchildren Taylor and Nicholas Keyowski. Paul was predeceased by his ex-wife Joanne Cote, daughter Paula Cote, brother Fr. Dave Cote and sister Mary Anne. Memorial Service will be held St. Michael’s Parish S.W. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 1:00p.m. A Gathering in Paul’s memory will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Kensington Road N.W. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
