Obituary of Annie TOULGOET

Annie Toulgoet, beloved wife of Alexander Andrew Toulgoet of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Thursday July 12, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Lovingly remembered by family Andrea (Jim Oram), Arlene Grindley, Alberta (Brian Chikmoroff) and Adele Toulgoet; grandchildren Essya and Michael Chikmoroff. She is pre-decreased by her parents Edward and Matilda Russell; brothers Jim and Jack and sister Margaret Bell; and son-in-law, Robert Grindley. Born and raised in Calgary, she attended Tuxedo Park, Mount Pleasant and Balmoral, graduating from Western Canada High in June 1942. Annie started her lifetime career as a pharmacist assistant at Jeffrey’s Drug Store, King Drugs and Medical Arts Pharmacy until she retired in 1988. Annie and Alexander were married in 1948 and with their extended family enjoyed many years of camping, bowling and square dancing. Mum with Dad enjoyed many great adventures traveling with Andrea and Jim to Ireland, Australia, Europe, Caribbean, Japan, England and Scotland. Her most recent adventure was this March to Arizona. Memorial Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank all the staff at Unit 58 of Rockyview Hospital for all their thoughtful care and support.
