Kay Stewart of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the age of 95 years.
Kay was born in Allan, Saskatchewan to Peter and Margaret Zacher.
Kay is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Bob and Gwen Stewart, Jack and Linda Stewart and Barry Stewart; granddaughters Sandi Tarasoff (Steve), Corinne (Tyler) Kohut and Janine Wenzel; grandsons Brad (Tracey) Stewart and Duane (Christine) Derkach; great-grandchildren Cassidy, Hannah, Abigail and Claire, Brayana and Brittany. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Bresciani as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John Burgess (Jack) Stewart on January 8, 1987; her father Peter Zacher; mother Margaret Zacher; sister, Margaret Berthiaume and her brother, Joseph Zacher.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery. forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
