Obituary of Taiwo ODETUNDE

Taiwo Odetunde of Calgary passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on November 17, 2012 at the age of 63. He was born in Modakeke, Nigeria and traveled to Canada to attend university in 1973. He studied mathematics, psychology, and obtained his formal education as a civil engineer. He was an accomplished real estate agent for several years being awarded realtor of the year several times throughout his career. “Tai” was passionate about philosophy, nature, music and business, and known for his famous saying “either the best or nothing”. He continued to learn and enjoy these things right up until the end of his life. Tai will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his loving wife of 32 years, Caletha; together they raised five children, Nadia, Felicia (Bolaji) (Jamal), Fehintola (Tunde), Charmaine (son in law Adrian), and Richard; his “boys” as he lovingly called nephews Ola and Afolabi; and his grandchildren Soleil and Niyi. He was predeceased and will now be in the presence of his twin brother Kehinde Olabode and his mother Anike. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, 155 Falconridge Crescent NE, Calgary, Alberta, followed by a Funeral Service at the Full Gospel Tabernacle.
