Elsie Menzies of Calgary, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the age of 86 years.
She was born in Shaunavon Saskatchewan on October 3, 1928 and moved to Calgary as a young girl. She was married to the late Alan Robert Menzies, missing him since his passing in 2008. They enjoyed many happy times over 58 years. Now they are together again. Elsie was a stay at home mom who loved her children, bowling, golf, camping and trips to Vegas with Alan. She cherished spending time lately with her family. She will be sadly missed.
Elsie is survived by her two children, Karen Ortman and Douglas Menzies; three grandchildren: Tara (Tony) Tomlinson, Brett and Jared Menzies.
She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, June Beauchamp and Nancy Gauld.
