Dr. Rajnikant Gandhi of Calgary passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the age of 78 years.
Dr. Gandhi was a professor of Sociology at the University of Calgary for 40 years. Dr Gandhi will be remembered as a loving husband, father and teacher.
Dr. Gandhi is survived by his wife Hansa Gandhi, children Shree Karia (nee Gandhi), son Ashish Gandhi, and four grandchildren. Dr. Gandhi was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
