Hi Everyone,
First of all, Patti and the kids, I'm here for you.
Second, I wanted to take this time to pay my respects and recognize how positively Gavin impacted my life. He was an inspiration and role model before and after he got sick. His sarcasm, wit and stories made me laugh...hard, he encouraged me during every karate class despite my tantrums, he guided me with the many questions I had about my life and career, he invited me to the cabin in Sylvan lake and was a poor witness to my first attempts at wake boarding, and he was an example of how to show your friends and family how much you love them every single day.
Gavin was a HERO. I will miss you and our chats deeply, but will keep you close in my heart and know that you are with us always.
Rest in peace, my amazing friend.
