Obituary of Gavin Ross FICK

Gavin Fick, beloved husband of Patti Fick, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 50 years. Gavin taught at the faculty of business at the University of Calgary before co-founding a computer software company. Gavin refereed hockey up to the university level as well as earning his black belt in Chito Ryu Karate. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Europe and numerous trips to Las Vegas. Gavin loved spending time with his family and friends at their cabin in Sylvan Lake. He especially loved the fun times shared there with his brother Colin and his wife Sherrell, and their children Jeff and Alyssa. Gavin is survived by his wife Patti; children Brandon, Carson and Leah; his brother Colin and his wife Sherrell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as his dog Pepper who kept him company every day. A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the A.L.S.
