Obituary of Charles William WATSON

Please share a memory of Charles to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Charles William Watson of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the age of 58 years. Charlie had a love for all sports, but football was his passion. Working at McMahon Stadium, he was fortunate to be around others that shared his passion. Charlie was one of the few people whom truly loved going to work everyday. Charlie spent much of his life enjoying and spending time with his nieces and nephews, Cheyene, Kayley, Sean and Craig. Charlie has always been a strong influence on the kids’ lives and proudly watched Sean and Craig grow into exceptional young men. Charlie is survived by brother Darrell, and three sisters Jean, Margaret (Kevin), and Cheryl (Kevin). He will be deeply missed by all. We hope that you can join us to honour his life and share in his memories. Celebration of Life will be held at Rosedale Community Centre, Main Hall, at 901 – 11 Avenue NW, on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please, instead of your favourite suit… let’s honor Charlie by wearing your Favourite Sports Jersey. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Stampeders Foundation, 1817 Crowchild Tr., NW, Calgary, AB T2M 4R6, telephone: 403-289-0205.
