I am the eldest son of Russell and Helen Dryden. Mom passed in 1997 and Dad 7 months later. I remember your Mom and of course your Dad and the old house on 72 Avenue in Edmonton. I also remember the terrible times of the early 1950's when polio struck your family.
I am now 73 years old, retired and living in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico.
Blessings to your family from me and mine.

Granny was an amazing woman. She was beautiful, kind, and wise. My fondest memory of her is picking berries together in her garden. She was my great grandmother and I, her first great grandchild. I am so very grateful that I was able to see Granny soon before her passing. Living in California, I was unable to see her as much as I had wished. I will always remember how excited she was to see me and how genuine her hugs were. Holding the hand of my great grandmother and being by her side for one last time was truly a gift.
I love you Granny, you will forever by in my heart.
