Obituary of Marilee LEPARD

After a long battle with Scleroderma, Marilee is finally free from pain as she passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the age of 71 years.
Marilee blessed the world with her talents as a healthcare nurse for forty-three years, bringing humour and compassion to hospitals in California, Toronto and Calgary. Her love of taking care of others ended in 2004 when she retired from the Foothills Medical Centre Cardiology Unit.
Many people's lives have been blessed through her presence. Her tenacity and courage, especially near the end of her journey, will be admired by us all for years to come.
She will be remembered and cherished by her loving husband, George; her daughters, Kelly (Dave) Roberts and Kimberley (Michael) Klapey; and her three grandchildren Kinley Roberts (7), Jace Roberts (5) and Aiden Klapey (1). Her memory will be treasured by her three surviving siblings, Janet Travers and her husband Kevin, Gail and Gary Speranzini; her nieces, nephews and other extended family members; as well as many friends and colleagues.
Marliee now joins her mother Jean Santarelli, father Harry Speranzini and brother Tony Speranzini, looking down on us from Heaven.
