My deepest condolences to Hazel's family.
I once had the great honour and pleasure of playing behind Hazel at a senior's residence and wondered if it could possibly be legal to have so much fun.
Goodbye dear lady.

We send hugs and our condolences to Hazels family and friends over her passing. Please take comfort that she will be singing and improving everyone's soul beyond our earth. When ever we saw Hazel so was always so happy and interested in what everyone else was doing, she sincerely cared about everyone she meet. Her smile and voice touched us all. I meet Hazel through my mom who worked with her many years ago at CPR and the friendship meant a lot to my mom, they will be reunited enjoying each others company while they watch over us all. Thank you Hazel for your friendship and touching all those that knew you, we are all better people because of you. My the family find comfort in knowing Hazel will always be with us.
Love The Carlson, Hrico, Sandford, Mckay and Kerr families.

Hazel... We are so grateful to have known you. At first I was your cleaning lady, then we also became friends as the years went by. We had lots of laughs and fun stories together. We enjoyed taking you places and meeting your musical friends. Wow!! Such talent you and your friends have. It was an amazing evening at Bobby Vanns,. We are happy to have shared this with such an amazing lady. Watching you on stage singing is something we will never forget. Thank you for being my friend. I miss you so much. Heaven is a happier place I'm sure.
Our thoughts are with you Karen, Bill and all your family. You are lucky to have such an amazing lady as your mom. God love you.

To Hazel's family,
I wish to send my thoughts, prayers and condolences for your loss of a beautiful and special person.
I performed with Hazel for many years in the Wild Rose All Stars Band of Calgary, I was the tubist. Our band played for many years not only locally, but at various jazz festivals in Canada and the US.
Hazel was a fine entertainer who charmed audiences wherever we went. I was one of her many 'dear hearts', and she always made me feel special and loved. She always had a smile and a kind word, and I shall miss her.

I am so very, very sad to hear of Hazels passing. I had the honour and pleasure of working and singing with Hazel a few times in my life. They were highlights for me as she taught what being a pure and honest professional vocalist looked like.
Our world will not be the same without this shining example of poise, beauty, compassion and talent.
I love you Hazel.

To Karon and family,
I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved mother and grandmother who was so near and dear to you all and to those so blessed to have met her and enjoyed her company on several occasions. She was truly an angel and will be missed by so many but now she is one of God's Angels and will do good works in heaven. I can just hear her singing and bringing joy to those around her as she did here on earth.
My love to you all.

hazel entertained us and when we needed to be cheered up we would go and hear her perform. When our boys turned 18 she sang "You must have beena beautiful baby ". Much to their embarrassment but they were pleased as well
Thank you Hazel for bringing us so much joy
