Both Susan and I were saddened by Nell''s passing.
We were long time neighbours in Highwood and we were friends.
Watching her in her senior years driving around and getting things done made me rethink about aging.
She was unstoppable and I admired her.
She also was kind, caring and a good listener. We spoke when times were good and when they were not so good.
That's what a friend is all about.
Since we left Calgary for BC, we dropped by and touched base when in town.
It was always a pleasure to go to her place. I know she had some health issues but she never complained when we spoke. Strong Lady.
We knew Pat and Rob in her family the most.
But want to send our most sincere thoughts to all that knew Nell.
Be at peace Nell.

Aunt Nell was a true individual. Kind, but never condescending, straightforward in her views and full of life and love for her family. She will be missed by many but we felt blessed to have known her and Jim. God bless Aunt Nell and may you rest in the arms of Jesus.

Our condolences to all of Nell's family on her passing.
Nell and Jim will always have a special place in our hearts.
We immigrated from Scotland in 1968 with our two children and moved into Hounslow Drive, Nell and Jim took us under their wing and helped us adjust to Canadian life, Nell made me countless cups of tea and listened to our struggles with lots of patience.
