We are saddened to hear of Ron's passing and would like to pass on our condolences to Irene, Karin, Greg and families. We have lots of fond memories of the good times we spent with Uncle Ron and Aunt Irene and kids and will always remember these occasions as the Goodison family were really part of our family relatives. We will miss you and may you rest in peace.

Dear Irene and family,
May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate the well- lived life of a wonderful husband and father. A loving gentle-man, who was both distinguished and distinguishable. I trained as a Trust Officer under Ron's very capable guidance in 1963/4 at Royal Trust. He always held my total, total respect.

Very sorry to read that Ron had passed away. My sincere condolences.
I first met Ron while working at Royal Trust back in 1965 and while there was a gap in our relationship for a number of years, I was back in Calgary in the late 80's, so was around for his retirement.
My fondest memory of Ron, was one day 1966, when he and I went up to Banff to play golf. Back in those days the Banff Springs Hotel would close after labour day, so the crowds were gone from the course and green fees were reasonable. We were first on the course that really nice day. We came to a hole with a water hazard and as it was calm were able to see the bottom of the hazard and it was loaded with golf balls. As the water wasn't that deep, this prompted Ron take off his shoes and socks, roll up his pant legs and wade into the water and toss out a lot of golf balls. All pretty good balls too!
