Obituary of Aubrey Ronald GOODISON

Aubrey Ronald Goodison, beloved husband of Irene Goodison passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the age of 85 years.

Ron was a quiet, honest and caring man who had a love for the outdoors; spending time camping, hiking, fishing and traveling with his family.  He worked as a Trust Officer for Royal Trust Company for thirty-seven years.  On weekends, he was a resourceful handyman who passed on his skills to his children and grandchildren.  Ron spent many hours supporting his children’s varied interests: coaching hockey, helping with school projects, fundraising for Freestyle skiing, and standing in the cold cheering on his children at ski events across Alberta.  Other pastime activities he loved included reading mystery novels, doing crossword puzzles and enjoying a glass of wine in his favourite blue chair.

Ron will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years - Irene, his daughter and son-in-law Karin and Patrick; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Jane, as well as grandchildren J.J., Sam, and Ronan.
