Dear Family and Friends of Shauna, especially Rich, Janet and Alex ( These are the ones we know)
We extend our deepest sympathy to all of you at this time. I knew Shauna as a Grade 4 student in my class at Annunciation. She was a such a beautiful, creative, intelligent and kind young girl. I still recall some of the poetry she wrote and recently came across some pieces that I had kept as samples. We hold all of you in our hearts these days.

I knew Shauna all her life. I watched her grow up, taught her and was privileged to enjoy a meal and great company with Anthony and her in their home. She had so many interests and was great company. Most of all I was struck by the obvious deep love shared by Anthony and her. It was delightful to see them so very happy together, so compatible and such a perfect match. It is very sad to know that she has passed away. If battles like the one she fought were to be won by courage, love, devotion and determination there would be NO illness left in the world, hers and everyone else's demons would have been vanquished months ago. All of you, her family, her husband, her friends are an inspiration but really Shauna was the leader in the fight. So proud to have know her.

I am so sadden to hear of Shauna's loss, her memories will forever be etched in my heart, she was a person like no other she left an incredible imprint in my life. Her amazing talents were recognized and felt by everyone she worked with at Sherritt and when she took those talents to another company a void was left at Sherritt, there isn't a day goes by that her expertise is not felt or goes without being recognized, her collegues cherished her tower of strength and knowledge and for that everyone was sadden when she left Sherritt. We were all so happy that she was able to work in an area dear to her heart and so excited for her when she met an amazing man - Anthony who shared the same passion for life as she did. My heart breaks thinking of the two little girls (Cleo and Juno) who are mising their loving Mom. My deepest sympathy to her parents, family and friends and of course the love of her life Anthony I wish you strength and love as you travel this difficult journey and move forward, may God give you strength to carry on.
