Dora McCormack of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
Dora was born in Glasgow, Scotland, immigrating to the Calgary area on December 8, 1950. Dora worked for many years as an accountant for Imperial Oil as well as operating the Mac-Tay Chinchilla Ranch with her best friend and partner, Irene Taylor.
Dora is survived by her best friend Irene Taylor; nephews Bill, Jim and Danny Tait; nieces Doreen Mellow, Kathleen Wear, Melody Tait and Misty Tait; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother Alison, brother Dave, and sisters Alice and Gladys.
A Gathering will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
