Obituary of BettyAnn GREENSLADE

BettyAnn Greenslade wife of the Late Charles Greenslade of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the age of 74 years.

BettyAnn was born March 18, 1944 to Bill and Gertie McCann at Eckville Alberta. She was educated at the Eckville Junior Senior High School.  She completed her education in secretarial and bookkeeping studies at the Calgary Business College in 1962. She began her first job and worked full time her adult years. On June 4, 1965 BettyAnn married Charles Greenslade, Charles had a daughter Sandra whom he brought into the marriage as well and in 1967 our son Bradley was born and our family was complete. Some of BettyAnn’s favourite pastimes she enjoyed were skating on the Family Slough as a child, camping, flying with her Husband Charlie as pilot, dancing and reading. Charlie passed away in 1989, Sandra moved to Vancouver Island. We were able to arrange a trip to see Sandra and her family in August 2017 and were able to get current with Sandra's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Brad and his children Laikyn and Mitchell stayed in Calgary and have had many fun times together over the years.

BettyAnn is survived by her children, Brad and Sandra; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren; sisters Mary of Eckville and Barbara of Red Deer and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband Charlie in 1989; mother and father as well as many others.
