Dear Oma,
I’m glad your at peace now and I’m so happy the last time I saw you we had time together. I will miss you, I will miss your voice and that spark in your eye. Some off my favourite memories with you is when I would stay at your house and you would show me your dolls, but the best one is when you came over to visit and you picked me up and swung me in a circle when I was a kid that will stay with me forever.
My heart goes out to my family who are left behind, I hope you have joy in the good memories of her and they make it easier to say goodbye and she is finally at rest.

Lord please pick a bunch for me,
place them in my Mother's arms,
and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away!
