Obituary of David Andrew BLACKWELL
David Blackwell of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, after a short illness, at the age of 59 years.
He was born in Montreal to John & Evelyn Blackwell, and was raised in Unionville, PA. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in journalism, and practiced his profession throughout the USA and Canada. Dave had an insatiable curiosity and a zest for living, coupled with an easy-going personality. He collected friends wherever he went, and will be sorely missed.
David is survived by his wife Teresa; brothers, Michael and Peter (Nancy); nieces Sarah (Justin), Emily, and Greta; aunts Maureen (Ian), Christine (Tony), and Linda (Albert); numerous cousins in the UK and Canada, and a multitude of friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; sister Janet.
At the request of the family there will not be a public service planned.
