I've know Peter and the whole Scott/Harrison families all of my life. My grandparents and the Scott/Harrison family immigrated from Scotland and lived as neighbors in Victoria Park. Peter was best friends with my Uncle Bill. I last saw Peter when I met him to attend another of his childhood friends from Victoria Park funeral. Then before that it was at my mom and my dad's funeral and then my Uncle Bill's funeral. Peter was just a great guy and will be missed. My heartfelt sympathies to all of Peter's family. Sandra Blain

l met this fine man at Goodlife Fitness,l had seen him around over and over and finally one day we said hello and started up a pleasent conversation. l introduced myself as garth blain and he looked surprized and asked any relation to the blains that he grew up with in east calgary, Bill,Bob,Hank and Jim? Yes Bob was my father and the other three my uncles. He spoke well of them and shared many memories, l felt so fortunate to have met Peter and rekindle this connection. We chatted often and l liked him very much,l am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to all his family. Sincerely garth blain

Peter has been in my life since I was six and he dated my sister Ann. He helped me quit sucking myself thumb at night. Ann and Peter used to tease me as I was very gullible. I enjoyed going to hockey or baseball games to watch Peter play. When they moved to Dawson Creek Georgina, Dad and I drove the long way to share Christmas with them as it became impractical with 4 children and all the presents. It was great when they returned to Calgary 53 years ago. My family enjoyed sharing Christmas with the family and all the celebrations as the family grew. Peter was meticulous in his ways whether he printed comments in my first album, painted the home or built and repaired golf clubs. His family has been a great support to him. They will have hard times but many good memories to share. Eileen and Heinz Kaul

Peter has been in my life for 70 years more or less. Lots of memories. He continued to be in touch after Ann died and I will miss "Hi Gina" when I picked up the phone. My thoughts are with you all.

Morley and I were so sorry to hear of Peters passing. He was a gentleman's gentleman, always so sweet and happy. We enjoyed our coffee time, bowling and friends getting together.
