Dear Reece and Kurt. I offer my heartfelt sadness to you, and know that our loved ones will always live in our hearts forever. I met your father twice many years ago, and what they say of him is what I remember. Kind, warm and welcoming. My prayers are with you. Terry Noble (Tyson's father) Calgary

Although I only got to work with Vic for a short time I will always remember him for his humor, his calmness and his short sleeved shirts in all weather (always hung outside of his pants of course) Condolences to Vic's family.

Dear Darlene. Reece and Kurt....we have all lost a wonderful man, especially you.I worked with and for Vic through the Union Executive at Local 37 for many years. He spoke of you often and lovingly and so caring when we spoke of Peter's and my son who was serving in Afghanistan. I forwarded many of his email jokes which were sent specifically for that purpose. Safe journey, Vic...you will be sadly missed as one of the "good guys".

Darlene and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Vic was the first person I met when I came to Water Services in 2007. And since then I have had the pleasure of working with him on a daily basis. Even though ‘technically' he reported to me, we had a great relationship and I respected him for not only his water knowledge and wisdom, but by how much he cared about people. I'm very happy that he chose to keep working, even though he was eligible to retire. He always told me that he thoroughly enjoyed working for Water, and interacting with his friends and colleagues. Vic loved to make people smile and laugh, and had many different ways of doing that. Vic was never one to complain, and had a great positive attitude. And his love of Hawaiian shirts was renowned. And on his own travels, he would go out of his way to pick me up ‘happy face' paraphernalia. This will now give me a daily reminder of him. ? And I loved how Vic referred to you as ‘The Love of His Life'. For the first few months, I never knew your name. Thank you, Darlene, for sharing Vic with us for all these years. He made our lives better for having known him and he will be dearly missed... I hope your memories help you through this time. "Think of him often, and he'll always be there" Hugs to all of you.. Joan Clark
