Chris was an amazing soul. I played minor hockey with Chris for years, then at about age 19 he got me into the gym, along with our best friend Peter Csicsai. We were nearly inseparable for years and continued this way until careers and moves finally separated our lives. His passion for his friends and loved ones was immense, his family always treated me like gold. Although I hadn't had the chance to speak to Chris in the last year or two, he was always in my heart and mind. Chris changed my life for the better and was always an example in humility and kindness. I counted him a brother, as I'm certain most of you have too. It is with a very heavy heart I say goodbye. My condolences to Lea, Trevor, and Gabby- you guys were the best to me. Rest in peace, brother. Godspeed.

I met Chris at our fitness center where, his dad Trevor, mom Lea, also spent many hours keeping active, and Gabrielle actually worked for us as well. He was a teenager deciding to spend his evenings after school in the gym instead of video games and hanging out on the streets. I saw how well Chris developed in confidence, attitude and a great work ethic.
My fondest memory of Chris was when he was in his last year of high school and we were at Long Lake tubing. Chis is now a solidly built young man, full of confidence and had to say that there was no was I could flip him off the tube.
I have not seen anyone get that airborne except when kite surfing. We both laughed so hard as he could not believe he got that much air.
In later years we ran into each other at the mine, we would sit together for dinner at the mine and just and catch up on old and new times.
Chris was still the calm spoken, caring person I remember and he will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers to you Trevor, Lea, and Gabrielle.
