It is with deep regrets that I have heard of Rick's passing. We worked together for a few years at AGRIUM. Our paths continually crossed in the world of HR after I left to work in the oil and gas sector. Rick was a humble, down to earth, kind and well liked individual with a keen sense of humour. From Lyn and myself our sincere condolences Karen and the extended family. Rest in peace Rick!

I was fortunate to have curled with Rick for over 20 years at the Family Leisure Centre and at the Calgary Curling Club. He skipped our team to 2 men's league championships at the FLC and his love for curling was obvious. He was a dedicated team player and an outstanding team leader. I can remember him calling for us sweepers to "HURRY HURRYYYYYY". It was great fun for all of us. We will all miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He gave me my first job in Calgary back in the late 70s. Rick was a kind, intelligent, and principled man with a great sense of humour. The world world is better that he was in it.
