Heather was an inspiration to me when I began working for the Horticultural Society 14 years ago. I worked alongside her when she was President, those are years that are truly treasured with me. Heather was a wonderful mentor to me and a kind, gentle friend. She continued to inspire me with very kind words when I last saw her on March 28.
