Heather Chilton passed away peacefully on April 1, 2014 in Calgary at the age of 68 years.
The daughter of the late John and Kathleen Mackenzie, she was the beloved mother of Luminea and Daniel, and special friend and true love of Ken Stewart. Heather was a career occupational therapist who established herself in this field with extensive professional involvement and personal excellence. An avid master gardener, Heather actively volunteered and provided strong leadership to the Calgary Horticultural Society. Her love of nature and its changing features contributed to the inner calm she offered to those who interacted with her.
She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends who have had the honour and pleasure of knowing this remarkably compassionate and selfless person.
A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held on Saturday, April 19th between 1:00-5:00 p.m. at her home at 1343 Northcote Road N.W.
