My oldest son, Cameron did the DNA test and found names he didn't recognize - asking me if I knew any of them. We came across Pauline's information today, Dec.23, 2021. I met Aunt Pauline when I was 5 at a family reunion in Prince Albert along with all the other aunt's and uncles. I believe Robbie was there too. Years later, she made a visit to my dad and mom ( Herb & Shirley) in Smiths Falls - as we were on our way somewhere. We brought my dad to live with us in 1999, in Haileybury, ON and he would often phone Pauline relating stories and tales of our cat to her. I recall seeing letters with news clippings etc. throughout my life. That was before such thing as the internet. I tried to keep up correspondence over the years but hadn't heard from Aunt Pauline for a while. So sorry to hear the news as she was the youngest sibling in the Cooney clan. Dad would often tell me stories of the cats buried in her backyard and told me how she believed burying a statue of St. Christopher in a backyard would guarantee a house sale. I have some photos of Pauline as a very young girl, clutching her cat. Dad was very fond of her. If any of the family would like to get in touch you can reach me at sdcraig@hotmail.ca. As you may know, I was named after Aunt Doreen, which was my middle name. Love to all and sorry I did not know this until now. Susanne Doreen Cooney Craig

Your Mom, Pauline was a wonderful, kind neighbour on Cheyenne Crescent and always had time for a chat. On Halloween, the kids always had to make it to Farley’s first as full sized chocolate bars were being given out! They still remember that even though they are now in their 40’s!
We know you feel blessed that your mother lived an amazing, full life and our thoughts are with you as you mourn her loss.
Sincere condolences,
Al and Cece Knudsen and family

Grandma Pauline was so sweet! She was the BEST great Grandma to my daughter Chloe.
We will miss you so much ❤
I know you're up in heaven having tea with your husband and Evelyn. As I have a tea EVERY night I will forever think of you!
