Dear Madhu & Family,
We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend Satish Gaur. Our relationship started with brief introduction of Gaur family through Mr. & Mrs. Sat Bushan Chawla (1980's), which developed into loving friendship in the early 1990's. We had great time sharing lunches together. Our memories of travel to USA together still remain fresh. Satish was very affectionate person, he made us laugh on every gettogether. We wish-we had spent more time together. We pray to God for showering blessings to all family members!

My most sincere condolences to Madhu and family. I was very fortunate to have met Satish and call him my friend. We were neighbourhood friends who shared coffee and with that coffee came conversation that was diverse and always enjoyable. He adored his extended family and had so many positive stories to tell. His humour and wit, and friendly smile welcomed you into his humble world. He was such a gentleman and nice man. I will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It's hard to imagine how life can depart out of the most lively person. We got to know him through Inder and Neera, however he was such a friendly entity who adopted us all as his own family. With his most endearing warmth and loving disposition we succumbed to his charm.. Didn't interact much with him on regular basis yet he always remained close to our hearts. I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to see my dear Lala Bhaiya departed so soon. I knew him all my life and he was a great support/mentor for me and especially my children for last 47 years. He took a part of me with him. His love and blessings for me and my family will always be with us. He was very loving, caring and a fine human being. I share my grief with the entire Gaur family. I had met Satish mausaji first time when he and mausi ji visited us in Jamaica. Then there was a second visit in Bangalore as well for a month. I was amazed with his "jindadil attitude" towards life. I have so many beautiful memories with him which are difficult to summarise here. Mausaji, Manish and I are terribly going to miss our Sunday video chats. I hope you are in peace and comfort with Almighty God.

Last spoke with him few months ago and he gave me advice about my situation. Always helpful and full of ideas. Satish and Madhu were one of the first families who welcomed me when I was doing my doctorate at University of Calgary. Satish was a positive person and always encouraged me. Satish kept in touch with me for almost 40 years. His passing away is a huge personal loss for me.
