Frances Oliver, beloved wife of Brian Oliver, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 62 years.
Frances was born in Pilot Mound, Manitoba; moved to Calgary, Alberta with her family in early 1960. Frances had a great love of nature and horses and she farmed in the Cremona area for 17 years.
In 1992 she married Brian Oliver and together they shared her zest for life for the next 22 years. Between living in the country and frequent vacations in Mexico, Frances touched many lives. Her kindness, generosity and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Frances is survived by her husband Brian; sons Tim and Trevor Heerschop; grandchildren Taura and Todd; brothers Don (Jan) Kroeker, Richard Kroeker, sisters, Anne (Barry) Mudray and Irene Davidson; in-laws Shirley Oliver (mother-in-law), Warren and Janice Oliver and Gail Oliver; nieces and nephews Alissa Oliver, Trisha McCarthy, Todd and Warren Kroeker, Christian Oliver, Colin Mudray, Jordan and Felicia Lacey; great-nephew Jameson and great-niece Caydence.
Frances was predeceased by her parents Abram and Mary Kroeker.
