Our sincere condolences and prayers to all of you. There are no words to express our grief when someone so loved moves on to be with our Lord, but we hope that some comfort will be felt, knowing that she is now resting in peace with those who have gone before. It’s impossible to share all of my fond memories of Auntie Joyce, but I will attempt a few. If it were not for her patience and generosity I may not ever have learned how to drive. Thank you, Auntie Joyce, for my independence. She opened her home to our grandmother when she was in need and to my own mother when she too was sick and finally after moms passing, when Auntie Joyce hosted the reception following mom’s funeral. Auntie Joyce was not only kind and gentle but one of the hardest working and strongest women that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. There’s a lot that I don’t know about her or her life, but I do know that her kind does not come along everyday. Love Bonnie & Randy.

Joyce and the rest of the Goldsmith crew are always so welcoming of my family and I.
No Easter plans? Come on over.
Birthday party? Come on over.
In the neighbourhood? Come on over.
Joyce was always smiling and oh so welcoming as we’d come strolling through the doors at Judy and Keith’s for taco night, or waffle night or games night. We have enjoyed being welcomed by this amazing family for many years and we are sending our most sincere condolences to the family. Joyce was an amazing, caring and wonderful woman who will be sorely missed. We hope you can lean on each other and find strength together.
With much love and many hugs,
Melissa, Keith and Ollie McLeod.
