Jari Sokkanen of Calgary, Alberta passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the age of 37 years. Jari is fondly remembered as a vibrant, intelligent, kind and generous man. He is truly loved by all who knew him.
Jari is survived by his fiancé, Caitlin and her son, Anderson, whom Jari loved as his own; his mother, Arja Helena, and brother Mikko of Burnaby, BC as well as an exceptional complement of family, friends and colleagues. He is predeceased by his father, Markku.
A Celebration of Life for Jari will be held at Saltlik Skybar, 101-8th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. You are invited to dress in color and bring a copy of a favorite photograph or note to be displayed at Jaris memorial.
