Obituary of Donna McLAREN
Please share a memory of Donna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Donna will be remembered for her generous nature. She was liberal in her gifts to relatives and friends.
Donna will be remembered as a successful soccer coach who, between games, could enjoy hijinks with her young players.
Donna will be remembered for her keen sense of fair play. She was adamantly supportive of anyone being intimidated, including total strangers.
Donna will be remembered for her subtle sense of humour, quietly adding a comment to a discussion or situation which would bring a smile or laugh to all who heard it.
Donna will be remembered as a good person.
Donna was a loving wife, devoted mother, conscientious aunt, faithful daughter and true friend to many.
Donna fought the up and down battles of mental anxiety that plagued her entire life. In later years her life was lived with happiness and marred with bouts of distress and grief. Donnas last eight months were of serious anguish and mental torture forcing a personality that was not Donnas true nature.
Donna is at peace.
Donna was loved by her husband, Dennis, her sons Steve and Mark, her parents Marina and Don McLaren, her sister Cheryl (Mike), her aunts, uncles and cousins and by her many friends.
She was predeceased by her younger sister, Shona, and by her niece, Shonas daughter, Tori.
Donna was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star which she thoroughly enjoyed.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favourite charity.
