I knew Frank when he served as a military medical officer in Calgary in the mid-60s. He was highly respected and a skilled participant in our "Flag" Football and murder ball matches. I regret that we lost touch. My sincere condolences to his family.

We knew both Lou-Ann and Frank from before High School. We were very close friends during our early years of marriage and football. Frank displayed his toughness on the field, his playfulness through his antics in the locker room and on team trips, and superior level of intellect in vocabulary and retorts in all conversations. After University we kept in touch and visited with them whenever we traveled to Calgary. Frank and Lou-Ann were special people great friends and fun to be with. Our sincere sympathy and condolences to all of their family. Louise and Ted Frechette

Frank was my doctor, starting in 1977 when I took over the Cochrane Times, & our office was right next to his. He continued as my physician in Cgy until we moved to Phoenix. We always had lively political & ethics discussions, & I am glad he was my friend all those years. My condolences to the family.

To the family, I was very sorry to read of your father's passing. Your Dad and Mom were great neighbors and friends of my parents when you lived at Cochrane and your Dad was my doctor for a number of years. He was always kind and considerate and when the need arose, very willing to make a house call. He was a very special man.

To Rick, Debbie, Ron, Susan, and Steve, I am very saddened about the loss of your father. He was in many ways a strong father figure for me growing up, especially during some unfortunate times endured by my own family. His compassion, generosity, strength, intellect, and sense of humor are just a few of the great traits I always admired in him. You all came to be my second family while I was growing up and your father and mother were at heart of it all. Steve you have not only been a great friend for over 40 years, but you have become like a brother.
