Obituary of Frank DALLISON

Dr. Frank Lee Dallison passed away at the Bethany Care Centre on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Frank was a well respected family doctor in the Calgary and Cochrane area for more than 40 years. He was very much loved by his many patients, friends and family. Frank was a great man and a fabulous doctor with an easy-going nature and a great sense of humour, who had time for everyone. He was so realistic, that he could make sense of the most complicated situation with just a few words. It was a great joy to have him around. Frank was a huge animal lover; his dogs and horses gave him great joy and provided him respite from the stress and responsibility of his vocation. He was also an avid sailor, having taken many very memorable boating vacations in the San Juan Islands, near Seattle. Frank is survived by his five children, Rick (Kelly) Dallison, Debbie (Dave) Moore, Ron (Karen) Dallison, Susan Poynter and Steven Dallison, as well as numerous grandchildren and life-long friends. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Lou-Anne in 2010, and his parents, Mae and Lee Dallison in the 1980's.
